When I first bought this place in June '05, the intention was to bring it back to its former glory.  Sadly, to do that would have cost me a fortune that I do not possess.  The house had been so badly abused for at least 25 years by a hateful and destructive family and then a greedy slum-lord who never put a penny into fixing anything right.  The house underwent an enormous renovation in spring 2008 and is now a million times better.  It's not what I had planned originally, but I am loving how everything turned out.
