Vintage Devilbiss Steam Humidifier/Vaporizer Model 145

A beautiful vintage DeVilbiss glass jar humidifier that offers Overnight
continuous operation with automatic shut-off. The container is made of
heavy glass and the top is black bakelite and includes a carrying tray for easy
transport. It uses a detachable Leviton
cord for power. This humidifier has it's original box and when tested reached full
steam in less than 7 minutes. There is a small rough patch on the lid that
is hardly noticeable and affects operation in no way, you can see this in one of
the pictures. The paint is bright and clear.

- I do ask that you keep in mind these units are vintage and not new,
so please don't expect something "new from the store".
- I don't sell anything that has not been operated overnight to make sure it works.

- A special note: Steam
humidifiers, like all humidifiers, have a fill line demarcation. I have
found that on all steam models, most should be filled up to 1/2" just
below this
fill mark. The reason for this is that most spit and sputter water for
about five minutes until the level drops, you do not want this as it makes a
mess and the water is hot. By filling your vaporizer 1/2" below the fill line, all of
this is avoided. And, never, ever overfill a humidifier, steam or cool
mist. Also, steam units often have tops that get hot during operation,
exercise extra caution and allow unit to fully cool before touching the top.
